I am so sorry that I have been so terrible lately with my blogging!!! I am sure many of you know why! The shop has been open 2 weeks and I am crazily busy.  But I will not complain, its fantastic and I am loving every minute of.

Now for the cheeky bit....... would you all mind hopping over to thatcraftplaceblog.blogspot.com so I can keep in touch with you all and I can give you all the details of the shop, the goodies and the classes.

I also want to start a challenge blog with prizes soon so I would love you all to spread the word and we can organise some fab challenges with fab prizes!

Finally...... we have finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just arrived home after a massively busy day at the shop.  The final thing to do is put the curtain up to cover the bare wall on the right.  That should be done tonight and we will be opening at 9:30 am tomorrow.  We have a few bottles of bubbly and some nibbles to celebrate.  Fingers crossed we get some customers!

The Sign is Up!!!!!!!! 5 days to go!

Hi all!

I am so excited.  I have had an incredibly busy day today at the shop.  It still has a long way to go, and only 5 days to do it in...... but..... THE SIGN IS UP!!!.  I have put lots more on the shelves but still oooooodles to put out.

Cleaning, bringing in stock, putting up the slatboard, laying the carpet...... the list goes on!!!!!

Buried in Boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a little update on the "Grand Opening".  

We are still on schedule for 1st June.  The house is looking like a bomb site and I have had 2 more deliveries today!  Mmmmmm DoCrafts and Crafters Companion!!!!! Fabulous.  Shame I can't say the same about my lounge!!!!

Stamp Something Challenge

I thought this would be the perfect card to enter into the Stamp Something Challenge.  

The Challenge is "stamp something with beachy colours"

I have coloured it with my watercolour pencils and kept the image really simple.  Its such a lovely stamp, by Faye Whittaker in the Joanna Sheen range.

Ooooh, the stock has started to arrive!!!!

Every box I open I keep "oohing and aaaahing" as I want it all.   Danny keeps saying, "put it back", its to sell, not for you to play with lol!  Then he just raises his eyebrows and leaves me knee deep in goodies that I am about to sit and price.

I have been stroking the Grand Calibur and the dies, drooling over the stamps and picking out the distress inks I want.  There are so many ranges coming in that I can't keep up with it all.  I am too excited looking at it, instead of pricing.  I am sure the novelty will wear off........ (yeah, right! lol)!

These pics are just the tip of the Iceburg....... my poor house...... and still much more to arrive!

It doesnt look much, but the gaps in the boxes in the first picture are all I have managed to price!!!!

Still to price.... That Special Touch of Mica, Crafters Companion, Spellbinders, Martha Stewart, DoCrafts, X-cut, Fiskars, Ranger..... oh gosh, I could go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The countdown begins!

Today was the first day of painting in the shop and I am, excuse the language..... knackered!!!!

It starting to look bright and clean...er and I can visualise where all the goodies will be going.  I have a big table to go at the back for all the fab craft classes.  I am now terrified that I have enough stock to fill it.

You probably cant see the difference, but there is one, I promise!
