This is my entry to Cute Card Thursday's Blog Challenge.
Its a great image taken from John Byass's Nostalgia Range.
Coloured with Inktense watercolour pencils and florals from Wild Orchid Crafts.
A simple card, but I didnt want to distract from the stunning image!

My first challenge blog entry!

Here is my first challenge blog entry.  Its for "oldie but a goodie".
And thanks to Designer Diva its on the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog too.
It was one of the first times I had used Prismacolour pencils and I loved them.
All the papers are printed from Scrap Artist and Joanna Sheen CDs and distressed to give a vintage feel.
Florals are all from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts.
Ticket stamp from Magnolia Tilda and raffia from back to basics.
Hope you enjoy!

Such a favourite of mine.  I used lots of papers from Scrap Artist II and hand cut and coloured Edwin.
I think the raffia gives it an authentic seaside feel!

How frustrating is that!!!

After a fab morning of crafting, I thought I would put my creations to one side and get on with the washing up.  Stupid me.... I didnt move them far enough.  I managed to splash my pretty Sugar Nellie Adorable!  Straight on her nose.  The more I tried to disguise it, the worse it got!  I did manage to use my new German Glass glitter on the heart.  Absolutely love the stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The remainder of the day improved.....

I chose another colour scheme and size for my Adorable Digi.   Thats what I love about digi stamps.  The flexibility.  This one has been coloured with my usual Inktense and Aquatone pencils which I adore.
There are a mixture of DCWV stunning papers, Birdsong papers and a pretty floral background taken from a Craft Artist Digi Kits.  I love that program.
The paper flowers are cut from my Cricut onto Craft Artist papers and finished with Flowersoft centres.
The sentiment is a Hobby Art stamp

Lovely stamped image from the V&A Hanovarian Range. Gives a clear and sharp image and lend themselves so well to watercolouring!  I used my wonderful Inktense pencils. Birdsong Papers compliment really well and are a fabulous quality.  I have used Marianne and Joy Craft dies, and die cut and embossed the flowers using pearlescent and Core'dinations cardstock...... along with a few paper flowers from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have entered this in the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - embossing and/or paper piecing.
Just entered my gorgeous Fizzy Moon card in the Totally Papercrafts Lace and Pearls Challenge.

These Fizzy Moon Stamps are lovely. Work wonderfully with my Inktense watercolour pencils.
Have loads of ideas of how to use these stamps...... cant wait to get crafting tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts show in Brighton

Had a fab day today.  Decided to visit the Hobbycrafts Show in Brighton. I had a great time; managed to fill a small shopping trolley with goodies!

There was a great display from Cuddly Buddly with some stunning toppers on show.  Ali Craft had some fantastic bits; brill grungy stuff and again, some great examples.  Bildmalarna were on the J&C Creations stand, along with some Belles and Whistles.  I felt it rude not to aquire a couple of each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Look out, these will appear on my blog sometime soon.... am itching to start on the Bildmalarna range.

All in all it was fab! It was my build up to Ally Pally in April!  Saving starts NOW!

Saturday morning crafting......

I recently came across some stunning 6x6 designer card packs called Love Letters by Mindy Terasawa.  They are beautiful and the photo doesn't do them justice.  They are heavy and luxurious and I have been itching to use them.  This "Dawn with Kitten" stamp by Nellie Snellen seemed perfect!
The image is coloured with Promarkers and the flourishes are die cut.  The floral and the striped card is both from the Love Letters range.

How cute is this Country Companions Stamp.  I enjoyed colouring him with my watercolours.....

One of my favourites of the moment has to be this John Byass "Nostalgia" stamp.  It is wood mounted but I love it.  It stamps stunningly, and perfectly every time.  It is a joy to colour.  I used my Inktense Watercolours on this one and some vintage V&A linen papers.  My florals are from Wild Orchid Crafts as always.

More of those gorgeous papers, Country Companion Stamps, florals from WO Crafts and my favourites....Inktense Watercolour Pencils.

I was on a roll this morning but time went so fast......mind you, it always does when I am having a fab crafting day to myself!!!!!!

I would love your comments and ideas.

Paper Playtime Challenge

I just came across the paper playtime blogspot and decided to enter my Kenny K digi in the challenge. I created it a while ago but just love the colours!

Am loving these Kenny K digis. The photographs really dont do them justice. They were fabulous to colour. I used Prismacolour Pencils with these stamps. They lend themselves beautifully and the Prismas allow me to get into the tiny corners which can be hard to colour!

This is a wonderful digi image from Mo Manning. Her stamps are fabulous. Decorated using Promarkers, Lyra Brush Pens and oodles of glitter (although it doesnt look like it here!)

Loving yet another digi image! This one is taken from cuddlybuddly.com. The image is by Pachela Studios, Toby Tumble. All my toppers are decorated with florals from Wild Orchid Crafts and this image is coloured with watercolour pencils and Big n Juicy inkpads.

This lovely image from Studiolight "Sarah", has...... yes.... actually been stamped. The sentiments have also been stamped using the wonderful stamps from Polkadoodles (one of my absolute faves). Just invested in some of Nikki's new stamps with the houses on them. Cant wait to try them out.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these images from Sugar Nellie. They lend themselves so well to watercolours. The lovely frames is from Marianne Designs and is absolutely stunning.

Need I say more... yet another Sugar Nellie "Adorables" stamp. Flowers once again from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment stamp is from the "Birdsong" range of Papermania stamps.
